Warehouse Technology

Robotization
Robotization is the process by which work previously done by humans is taken over by machines, whether they are industrial welding robots or computers. In effect, repetitive processes are taken over by software robots (RPA)

RPA
With Robotic Process Automation, front-office and back-office business processes are automated. For example, do repetitive processes take place in your company, the lead time of which can be shorter? Then RPA offers a solution.

With RPA, adjustments to ICT systems are not necessary. Instead, software robots are quickly and easily installed that work on your current systems. These software robots can completely take over digital processes, or take a large part of the work off your employees’ hands.

Robotic Process Automation was already popular with large companies, but SMEs also recognize the many benefits of RPA. RPA offers affordable and quickly realizable solutions for improving process efficiency for almost any organization.

Robotic Process Automation has many advantages:

  • Software robots work continuously
  • Software robots don’t make mistakes
  • The costs of virtual employees are low
  • Employees have more time for value-adding tasks
  • RPA delivers fast results and has a short payback period
  • No adjustments are required to current systems

Auto ID
Automatic Identification is an indispensable part of working in warehouses. Without auto ID no logistics. In addition to the necessary software, Grensloos can also supply the hardware, barcode scanners, handheld scanners, mobile data terminals, cameras etc.

Narrowcasting
Narrowcasting is the distribution of information via screens on location. This can be directed per location or to multiple locations from one central point. Narrowcasting is very suitable for distributing and improving communication with employees at logistics centres. All logistical information can be displayed on the screens and employees can provide feedback with interactive systems. Grensloos can take care of narrowcasting completely for you, from software to screens and installation and management/maintenance.

Time registration
Automated time registration makes calculating hours worked easy. For example, Grenloos has developed an app for registering people and hours worked on construction sites, logistics and production locations. With a simple attendance pass, it is immediately clear who is present and absent and how many hours have been worked. It costs you a lot of time and effort to keep track of who enters your work locations. Not only your own employees, but also all temporary workers and employees of subcontractors. This is how an online access registration system was created, which was developed by Grenloos and which performs as standard what the law actually requires you to do: registering everyone who is active on your work location(s) by means of an ID pass.

Another application of (NFC) time registration is job registration. Applicable for both order-driven and project-based production <start time start job> -/- <end time job ready> = production capacity spent.
